Imagine a spectrum of Keaykolour papers, a collection boasting an impressive palette of 45 colours each brought to life through illustration… in small matches box!
The origins of Keaykolour Matches
The "Keaykolour Matches" project moved beyond typical colour combinations. The concept began with the printer’s desire to showcase their creativity and skills to customers and evolved into a project aimed at showcasing the richness of colours and the tactile aspect of the papers.
Think of out of the box
This project focused on print combinations with the Keaykolour stocks, creating visual interest through unexpected pairings. Designers explored contrasts and subtle links between colours and drawings, all inspired by the evocative shade names. These deliberate pairs spark curiosity and highlight the versatility of the Keaykolour palette in new and imaginative ways as an encouragement to think of out of the box (of matches!)
The perfect choice for digital printing
This project highlights the potential within the Keaykolour palette through the digital print processes of Rapidity and their 6-colour Xerox Iridesse, proving that compelling outcomes often arise from exploring the unconventional. The printer declared that it “not only demonstrates the precision and clarity of our digital print but also reinforces our commitment to using the finest materials, like Keaykolour, to deliver premium products."
