Technical guidelines

The cutting blade should be kept as clean as possible using standard solvent products on both sides of the blade. The clamp holding the sheet stack should be set with the minimum pressure necessary to hold the sheet stack in place. It is further recommended not to cut stacks of more than 100 sheets.

Avoid direct sunlight exposure and storage near heat sources. The sheets should not be kept in damp conditions and should be stored in their protective packaging at all times. The recommended storage conditions are between 15-23°C and a relative humidity of 45-65%. Store the sheets in their original packaging, and ideally condition in the print room 24-48 hours before use. Once the original packaging is removed, protect the sheets from humidity extremes by covering with suitable plastic sheeting.

The sheets have a high-tack permanent acrylic adhesive, suitable for good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates. Removable or Extra-permanent versions also available.

Due to the high number of presses and digital systems available in the market, we recommend preliminary tests to verify printing suitability on each digital press, as the results may vary accordingly.

Sticotac is suitable for indirect food contact and conforms with BGVV regulations and is FDA approved. Sticotac conforms to Directive CE 9426 concerning heavy metal content so is suitable for contact with toys (EN 71.3).
