Imageco LTD, a leading British wide-format printing company, was approached by the design agency PIE Factory to create and develop a sustainable events solution for their client: Capital One. Together, both teams came up with an 8x4m fully sustainable, recyclable and re-usage greenhouse, entirely free from plastics.
Using Xanita board – an engineered fibreboard manufactured from fibres recovered from recycled used cardboard boxes, the project team successfully managed to develop an appropriate structural design that stands the test of time whilst also hitting each green expectation…on a tight deadline.
The jury recognised the sheer commitment of all stakeholders involved and the ability to deliver on high environmental and operational expectations.
A dream team, for the better.

The Antalis Interior Design Award celebrates the passion and talent of professionals of architects, interior designers, design agencies, design schools, printers and brand owners that strive to transform spaces into inspiring areas for people to live and work.
Our latest edition is a fantastic opportunity for interior design professionals to showcase their top projects, to have their inspiration rewarded by a renowned jury and highlighted in the specialised press, Antalis websites and events.
An incredible platform for winning projects to gain media exposure, financial support and game-changing contacts.
The project was impressive and made great use of Xanita board so I thought it would be worth a shot.
The brief was complex and challenging due to the physical design and the technical restraints of Xanita. Clever enegineering had to be used with little time for R&D.
This was at the epicentre, our client came to us after seeing the previous project for Antalis and their Sustainability Street expo stand. They wanted their project produced the same way using the same material, Xanita.
Timings were tight and we had to engineer a solution that was fit for purpose, safe and to a high standard.
I was at the show for install and it was the best stand there, it stood out a mile from other basic stands and received lots of reconition during and after the show.
The whole creative process from start to finish and team work. We all came together to deliver the project on time. Our Cad designer Dean only finished building it in Leeds 6 hours before the show started, he came on a train with me the following morning to then install it all day. A real huge effort by all. The material properties of Xanita made it possible to do and we knew that we could work with this material to bring the idea to life.
It means the world, to get global recognition for our projects is amazing.
More of the same, pushing the boundaries of what we can do and letting our creative minds run riot.
