Antalis celebrates the comeback of wallpaper in interior design with the launch of its new ID Wallcovering collection.

Most of the range consists of non-woven wallpapers, the result of a process of compacting polyester fibers and wood shavings, which have the benefit of offering greater thickness and resistance than wallpapers made solely from paper and are well-known for being easier to handle and harder to tear. Technical features that are highly valued by demanding space renovation professionals. What’s more, the range offers a wide choice of PVC-Free wallpapers, in line with the environmental approach to which Antalis has been committed for a number of years and in response to its customers' expectations for more eco-responsible visual communication.

In particular, the range includes 10 PVC-free non-woven wallpapers designed for moderate traffic areas and available in several type of installation methods such as paste the wall, pre-pasted and adhesive. These quality products are mainly intended for sophisticated, or even luxury, retail outlets that want to create a refined atmosphere in their sales areas to enhance the customer journey, or for the hotel industry to personalise bedrooms, like headboards. These include Coala Walldesign NW S, a paste the wall material which can be printed on with all types of inks, solvent, UV and latex, guaranteeing optimum printability. Or Coala Walldesign NW Recycled, a very similar version made from 100% recycled fibres, which is sure to inspire even the most environmentally conscious brands. Or even more aesthetic products such as Coala Walldesign NW Stone and Coala Walldesign NW Fine Stone , featuring more structured grain finishes, designed for customers who want to stand out and offer visitors something original. Or lastly, Coala Walldesign NW Pre-pasted, a product that can be applied thanks to a pre-glue reactivated by spraying with water, really easy to use.

The range has also been updated with 4 new PVC coating wallpapers, which are thicker and denser than other wallpapers, making them rub-resistant and capable of concealing imperfections on walls. They include Coala Walldesign NW in Smooth Matt, Fine Sand and Canvas finishes in paste-the-wall version and Coala Re-Stick 150 Canvas in self-adhesive version. These materials are particularly suitable for covering walls in high-traffic areas, such as corridors or entrance halls. 

Among the selection of self-adhesive products, the new Coala Wall Stick Canvas has been introduced to the range, combining all the qualities of a highly popular Canvas finish with the ease of application of self-adhesive. And lastly, to satisfy those who are used to adhesive installation, we have retained from the original range of wallcoverings Coala Walldesign Stick R, Coala Wallcover Textile and Coala Rockmount  for the variety of their finishes.
