How do you pack highly sensitive high-end devices both safely and attractively?

It is equally important to provide solid protection for these complex and highly sensitive devices as well as a unique unboxing experience.

The customer's challenge

A specialist in analogue high-end playback devices such as turntables, cartridges and phono amplifiers. Here, "Made in Germany" means constant innovation, the best materials and technical perfection implementation for the highest sound quality.

Handcrafted high-end turntables are exported to numerous countries, both by pallet and individual shipment. These highly sensitive complex devices must be securely protected during shipping in order to protect sensitive components from shocks. However the devices must not only arrive intact at their destination; it is equally important to the customer that the packaging underlines the value of the products and offers the recipient a unique unboxing experience.

The Antalis solution

In order to meet the packaging requirements, a customised solution was developed using a special PE foam which, in addition to optimal protective properties, also has a specific look and feel.
The foam pads are designed so that the customer can unpack the parts in the right order to be able to assemble them step by step without having to unpack the whole box first.

For the outer packaging, in addition to the high-quality printed outer box, an outer cardboard box was also provided to offer additional stability and protection against soiling and conceal the contents.
