Important to any wedding are the invitations and stationery choices. At Amoretti, the design and print of all elements of the stationery are done in-house by Emiliana. From mood boards created with the client, Emiliana works to translate the concept into stationery suited for the couple and the event. Emiliana explains the process: For many of our clients, location plays a huge part of their special day and is often the starting point of the concept along with the client’s preferred colour scheme and whether the event is to be formal or more relaxed.
Emiliana Gualtieri, Amoretti Weddings and events founder
Emiliana uses a combination of hand painting and digital techniques to create her designs.
When it comes to choosing papers for the stationery, the first criterion on Emiliana’s checklist is quality: “It is important for me that when a person takes one of our invitations in their hands they can feel the quality.” Emiliana usually double mounts the card for invitations to reach a sturdy 600gsm.
As a long-standing client of Antalis, Emiliana is familiar with our range of papers and has confidence in the products, which meet her high standards. Each of Amoretti’s four entries into the Antalis Creative Power Awards (ACPA) 2022 showcase the quality of their work and the importance of substrate selection as part of the creative process.
