Characteristics
Ultima GC1 is a blue-white premium paperboard which is coated on both sides: double coated on the top side and single coated on the reverse. It is made with a high content of SBS pulp, resulting in a paperboard with a multitude of benefits including good bulk, high stiffness and a smooth top surface that is ideal for printing and finishing.

The Ultima GC1 range of paperboards is available next day in a choice of weights, sizes and formats: 270gsm/ 400mu and 300gsm/ 450mu in S2, S1, B2, B1 available bulk packed or packet wrapped (with an additional option of 200gsm/284mu to 400gsm/600mu available ex-mill). The product offers superb runnability and is suitable for litho and high speed printing machines, with great results for multicolour printing.

Participating in an Agro/Social Farm Forestry Programme, special varieties of trees (Subabul, Casuarina and Eucalyptus) are grown and harvested. Not only does this ensure that nature is respected, it also provides a livelihood for farmers and helps local communities.
