Green Star System
The Green Star System™
environmental rating for papers

Green Star System™, a simple way
to assess the eco-responsibility of your papers

To offer our customers a simple and clear way of knowing the level of eco-responsibility of every paper, Antalis developed the Green Star System™ in 2014. It is now a well-known and recognised point of reference for our customers. The scoring system allows a customer to understand the environmental performance of our papers at a glance, based on the number of stars.

A 5-star scoring system

The Green Star System™ rating is based on two key criteria - the origin of the fibre and the manufacturing process, giving each product a star rating from zero to five to define its environmental performance.

The more stars a paper has, the more eco-responsible the paper is! Antalis considers a product rating from 3 to 5 stars as an eco-responsible product.

Our ambition

Today our eco-responsible papers, rating from 3 to 5 stars, account for over 54% of our paper portfolio. Our ambition is to continue growing this share by adding more certified and circular products.
