We work to quantify and constantly improve our environmental impact. At the heart of our business, the receipt, storage and worldwide distribution of goods for our clients are carried out in compliance with rigorous sustainability standards and certifications.
Carbon has become these last years a topic of increasing importance for many of our stakeholders, like customers, suppliers and assessment bodies. Antalis Group has been calculating its scope 1 & 2 corporate carbon footprint since 2021. Working in partnership with a dedicated carbon footprint platform, Antalis rolled out a data collection project for its 34 trading subsidiaries in Europe and Latin America.

Several subsidiaries of Antalis have already started implementing actions to decrease their green house gas emissions, in the warehouses but also in terms of services : Solar panels, Electric and hybrid cars in the company cars fleet, LED lighting in all warehouses, Carbon offsetting.

Our network of 105 logistics centres in 32 countries is a critical link in our global supply chains. We are proud to say that an increasing number of our warehouses have received ISO certifications for Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental and/or Energy management. Our warehouse in Almere, Netherlands has switched completely to energy-efficient LED lighting. In our warehouse in Sénart, France, a similar initiative is currently being implemented. Most of these distribution centers are ISO certified, either on quality management, health&safety, environment or energy.
Environment: ISO 14001 sets out the criteria for an environmental management system and can be certified to. It maps out a framework that a company or organization can follow to set up an effective environmental management system.
Energy: ISO 50001 is for organizations committed to addressing their impact, conserving resources and improving the bottom line through efficient energy management.

Antalis Switzerland support Coop, a longstanding partner and a leading retailer in Switzerland in its objective to reduce by over 20% reduction in CO2e emissions in the supply chain by 2026. Together, they shift the transports from road to rail for 4 out of 6 national distribution centres.
Situation before: 10 trucks including trailer / week.

ANTALIS NORWAY: EMISSION-FREE DISTRIBUTION
In our Norwegian subsidiary, the focus is high on climate and one of the short-term challenges will be to offer eco-responsible transport, at zero emission. End of 2023 Antalis Norway has changed its transport provider for stock orders to customer in Oslo city and near by, for a company who able to provide emission free distribution.
ANTALIS ABITEK IN CHILE: CPA CERTIFICATION
Antalis Abitek (Packaging company in Chile) was certified with the "Clean Production Agreement (CPA)". The CPA is an agreement between companies and the Agency for Sustainability and Climate Change, a state agency, to improve environmental conditions, waste management, energy efficiency, water consumption, and other relatives in productive areas.
ANTALIS UK: A RIVER FREIGHT PILOT
Antalis United Kingdom supported a six-week river freight pilot to deliver next day, light goods into central London. The goods were transported down the Thames river from Dartford and Woolwich to Woods Quay, located next to Waterloo Bridge. The last mile of the journey was completed using cargo bicycles, thereby avoiding road congestion and reducing pollution in the process.
